**Homeless Women Feminine Hygiene Drive**: Melanated PEARL partnered with female entrepreneurs Tiara Moore at Save Our Jewels, and Derrione Felder at Shop Milan Gizelle, to address period poverty (the inability to afford feminine hygiene products) among homeless women. In this campaign we raised over $3,000 towards our $5,500 goal, providing safe, super absorbent sanitary napkins to over 100 homeless women along with other much needed hygiene supplies. The beneficiaries included Phoenix Pass in Conyers, JC Freedom House in Douglasville, Gigi’s House in Morrow, as well as homeless women living on the street in the city of Atlanta.

Coronavirus Care Packages for Mothers’ Day: Recognizing that the economic impact of COVID-19-related business closures could make it more difficult for lower income families to celebrate their mothers, Crystal provided over $4,000 in funding to local Black women-owned businesses to create the SuperMom SelfCare Kit – Mothers’ Day care packages. Our founder personally delivered packages to more than 25 women with items that included: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), ‘SuperMom’ T-shirts, all-natural feminine hygiene products, candles, and various other special gifts. Businesses that were highlighted on marketing materials as well as social media, providing much-needed promotion for these local, Black women-owned businesses.
